Dear Colleagues,
We are pleased to invite you to a specialized training session: “Managing Intercultural Teams in the Academic Environment,” taking place on May 29 at the University of Warsaw.
This event is specifically designed for Polish and international leaders of research groups and projects. It also serves as the official launch of the Mazovia NAWA–EURAXESS Network, a regional initiative dedicated to supporting international researchers and fostering institutional cooperation.
Why Participate? Effective leadership in a globalized academic landscape requires more than technical expertise. This workshop uses coaching methods and real-world case studies to help you:
- Develop a leadership style adapted to international research environments.
- Navigate diverse communication styles and overcome language barriers.
- Resolve conflicts respectfully using tools inspired by Nonviolent Communication (NVC).
- Turn team diversity into a driver for innovation and creativity.

Qualification & Registration: The workshop is intended for research leaders employed at the University of Warsaw and partner institutions within the Mazovia region. Please note that participation requires the prior consent of your supervisor.
