On behalf of the Polish Centre of Mediterranean Archaeology of the University of Warsaw, we have the honour to invite you to participate in the events organized to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Polish archaeological research in Nea Paphos, Cyprus.
This jubilee marks the 60th anniversary of the PCMA UW’s research at this site, as well as the 15th anniversary of research conducted by the Faculty of History, Jagiellonian University in Kraków. We will celebrate it with two events.
The first is the international academic conference Nea Paphos Colloquium IV, which will take place in Warsaw (May 20–21) and in Kraków (May 22–23).
The second is an open-air exhibition titled From Maloutena to the Agora: 60 Years of Polish Archaeology in Nea Paphos, Cyprus, to be displayed in the courtyard in front of the Old University Library on the Main Campus of the University of Warsaw. The official opening of the exhibition will take place on May 21 at 6:00 pm.
We will be truly delighted to welcome you at these special events.
