Supervisor database

Searching for supervisors is possible at: link.

First, email your potential supervisor with a brief description of your achievements and dissertation idea. If both parties are interested, the best way to establish a future collaboration is to discuss your potential doctoral studies during a meeting with a UW academic.

Remember that the dissertation supervisor can be a person with a degree of doktor habilitowany or the title of professor. In addition, at least one of the supervisors has to be:
1) an employee of the University,
2) an employee of the institution co-managing the School,
3) or a person having the status of a retired professor of the University.

Regardless of the search engine (the link above), it is permissible to find a supervisor independently, e.g. by asking an academic staff member who teaches a specific course at the UW.

Here is a website for registration of UW academics who meet the supervisors’ criteria: link.
