Dr Sławosz Uznański-Wiśniewski on UW

We have some cosmic news for you! 🚀

👨‍🚀 Dr. Sławosz Uznański-Wiśniewski, Polish astronaut ESA – European Space Agency and participant in the IGNIS mission, will visit the University of Warsaw on December 19! 🎉

🪐 The astronaut’s visit to the University of Warsaw is the last stop on the “IGNIS – Poland Reaches for the Stars” technology and science tour, which includes 17 Polish universities.

The event will consist of two parts:

👉 The first part will be academic – a meeting with students, doctoral students, researchers, and academic teachers, which will begin at 9:00 a.m. in the Old Library Building of the University of Warsaw.

📝 You can already register for the academic part – just send an email to promocja@uw.edu.pl, and include the following in the body of the email:

🌟 your first and last name,

🌟 your email address,

🌟 your student or doctoral ID number

🌟 name of your field of study, doctoral school, or employing institution.

Those who successfully register will receive an email confirming their participation in the meeting.

👉 The second part, the educational part, is intended for primary and secondary school students. Registration of participants will begin at 12:00 p.m. in the Auditorium Maximum UW.

📝 Registration for the educational part is handled exclusively by POLSA Polish Space Agency.

The number of places is limited, so don’t delay in registering! 💫

But for those who are unable to attend the event in person, we have good news: both parts will be broadcast online on our YouTube channel (also in English)🎥
