Results of the 2025/2026 admissions procedure

The Admissions Coordinator announces the results of the 2025/2026 admissions procedure to the Doctoral School of Humanities in disciplines:

Archaeology: ranking list;
Ethnology and cultural anthropology: ranking list;
Philosophy: ranking list;
History: ranking list;
Linguistics: ranking list;
Literary studies: ranking list;
Culture and religion studies: ranking list;
Arts studies: ranking list.

Candidates who received recommendation to be admitted to the School must deliver the documents listed below to the office of the School (BUW building, room no 0.108, Street Dobra 56/66, 00-312 Warsaw). It is possible to deliver the documents from 28 July to 22 September 2025.

Candidates should book the visit in the office of the School via Google calendar (purpose: admission to the SDNH): LINK. It is necessary to show a document confirming your idendity during the visit.

Additionally, please prepare before the visit in the School:
– ID or passport number in order to fill out the ZUS ZUA form in the office of the School;
– name and address of the tax office, the name of the bank and the bank account number;
– information about health insurance and its basis (e.g. employment. insurance by a family member) and the relevant branch of the National Health Fund (Narodowy Fundusz Zdrowia – NFZ).

List of documents required for admission to the School:
– an original copy of the document confirming qualifications to begin education at the
School (e.g. a diploma);
– additional health-related documents – (e.g. disability, pension, etc.);
– printed and signed documents from the IRK system (“Enrollment applications”, “Documents and further steps”):
1. Personal data processing declaration for educational purposes;
2. Declaration on starting education at the School and selection of a discipline;
3. Scholarship statement;
4. School admission application document.

Candidates who are interested in obtaining a place in the dormitory should deliver the indicated documents as soon as possible. Admitted candidates can apply for this place from 4 August to 15 September 2025. Visit the website of the Student Welfare and Support Office of the UW to learn more: LINK.
